Aging Hardware (Especially MC9090): The MC9090 is older, with less memory and slower processor — might struggle with very modern apps.

Operating Systems: These devices run legacy OSes (Windows CE, Windows Mobile) — may not be ideal for newer mobile application platforms.

Weight: These are fairly bulky / heavy (pistol grip style), which is great for scanning but less ergonomic for pure data-entry-dense tasks.

Battery Replacement: Over time, battery degradation is a concern; used / refurbished units may need battery replacement.

Network: While newer MC92N0 supports 802.11n, older ones are limited to 802.11 a/b/g, which could be a bottleneck in very high-throughput Wi-Fi environments.

Parts / Support: As legacy devices, new OEM units may be harder to find; reliance on refurbished market / third-party parts.
